You may have noticed that you can no longer edit your posts.  This is a temporary problem, which will be fixed as time allows.

I thought I could edit by removing and retyping. But when I tried that in Other Sports, I was told I can't delete my posts in that thread.

That may be a time issue rather than a thread rule. How long between the original post and the attempt to edit?

I just made a test post in Other Sports, tried to remove 5 seconds after posting, got this message.

I made another post in the same thread and was able to remove it. I guess the rule is against removing the initial post in a thread. I didn't think of that.
