Title: Do you trust your goverment?
Post by: ViseGrip on July 14, 2009, 01:44:03 PM
Do you trust your Federal Government? If you are in the middle then choose the side you lean closest to.

Vice Grip you wouldn't be related to Theodore Kaczynski would you?  I have this vision of you holed up in some trailer miles from the nearest town, with your computer, enough guns and deer bologna for an army, railing about how unfair and evil the world is.

If it massages your ego to think that of me buck, you go right ahead. But were you one of those 3 here who actually trusts your federal govt?

If so... go talk to some Native Americans.

You're awesome, I love your polls.  If someone happens to vote differently from how you see things, you criticize them.

Useful idiot alert! The proletariat army has come to defend big brother! Oh how clever to mock those who dare oppose the almighty state in all it's wisdom! March for the state! Love the state! Sacrifice for the state! Work for the state! Pledge yourself to the state! Die for the state!

Only a complete fool would fully trust any form of government bureaucracy.
To do so, one has to be wholly ignorant of recorded history and fact.

I think the original question is fair to ask here, but since then it has been drifting to a political fight. If this drift continues, then the poll will be moved to the government politics section.

I answered "no", but in some ways that's too easy. It's kind of like asking a bunch of 7th graders if they like school cafeteria food. I have a healthy distrust of my government - enough to keep me involved and vigilant.

There's a disturbing trend here.

I don't necessarily trust my government, but I don't hate it either, even when that jagoff was in charge.  Give my regards to Terry Nichols tight-waist.

I don't think Clinton deserves to be called a "jagoff".  Sure, he had his problems, but I think every president deserves more respect than to be referred to as a jagoff.

Glad you cleared up what jagoff you were referring to.  It can be tough figuring out whether it was Bush or Obama.  Thanks.
