You're right, it change from April to November starting this year.  Years past, November was an early signing date with the official date was in April. November is now the month.

National signing day is in April, though he could have signed some back in November.  I doubt he is giving any money to the kid.

I suspect they cut his budget and he's got to be careful with doling money to out of staters.

Another kid to watch out for next season - also on Stanford's team - is Shane Griffith at 165 lbs.  He's also redshirting this season and he has a 20-2 record.

Among his 20 wins was an 8-1 win over then # 17 ranked Andrew Fogarty of South Dakota State and a 7-2 win over then # 20 ranked Jesse Dellavecchia of Rider.

Griffith is one of the best to come out of NJ, Bergen Catholic (same as Suriano), 3 x champ, 1 x 2nd...his junior year, losing to Stephen Glasgow who is now at Rutgers.

Can someone who is knowledgeable about Oregon State's wrestling program explain something to me.  That being why is it that when Oregon State has 9 Seniors on the team roster this season Oregon State has only signed ONE new recruit for next season?    And that one new recruit, Robbie Garcia (149 lbs), has never won his State H.S. wrestling tournament (New Jersey).

He didn't even place in 2018.  To his credit, he beat a returning state champ in 2017 early in the season. Same kid finished runner-up in 2018.

For what it is worth he won his district this past Saturday at 152 and is 15-0 on the year..

Not a good week ahead, just enough snow to be a headache.

Sunday - Snow 1-3" - Bust - Rain
Monday - Snow 1"
Tuesday - 33F
Wednesday - Snow 1-2"
Thursday - Snow 1"

Looking up though, 40s and 50s the following week

NCAA must use a similar algorithm for the RPI.  There are some crazy rankings in that first calculation.
