It was an exciting match. I am sad that I will not see Gwiaz wrestler another folkstyle match. I have followed him since he was a 7th grader in our local high school and it was my pleasure to watch him grow and mature as a wrestler. I wish him well in whatever endeavor he chooses to pursue.A fine your man and a credit to our sport. War Gwiaz!
The only words that I ever say to a returning vet are "Welcome home" or its variant "Welcome back to the world." As a vet the whole " Thank you for you service" blurb never had a natural ring to it even though I know that many were sincere when they uttered it. I think it is said because people just do not know what else to say. Along the same line as everyone at a funeral saying "Sorry for your loss". Is everyone really sorry or are they just mouthing the platitude?
