College / Re: Oregon State looking flat.

I'm not talking about the OSU guys holding back.  I am more curious what kinds of regulations and requirements may have hindered their ability to prepare.  It could also just be that OSU wasn't as ready to compete as NDSU.

College / Oregon State looking flat.

Watching the OSU vs NDSU dual meet and Oregon State is looking really flat.  I expected them to come out with a little bit more pop.  I wonder if this is a result of coaching changed or more likely I wonder what kind of restrictions OSU is operating under being that Oregon is fairly locked down right now.

It could be interesting to see if the states that are more "locked down" struggle this year.

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hit 90 degrees yesterday. High of 69 and thunderstorms today.

Have a tremendous day word!

Got down to 21 this morning, supposed to warm back up a bit this week.  Guess it's time to blow out the sprinklers for the winter.

No hazing involved with the locker room incident.  They were vaping THC after practice.  Been deer hunting all weekend long, not many deer around this year, had a nice blanked of snow this morning though.  I've never seen snow in September around here before.

Spent the afternoon at the school, watched my daughter and niece play 5th-8th grade volleyball games (A team, B team, and C team all had 3 games), followed by my nephew's junior high football game, then the neighboring school came and played a game on our field (their field is being redone).  Finished the night off with HS Volleyball, and finally HS football, unfortunately half of our team is missing 3 games because they got caught doing stupid things in the locker room.  Hard to do much with a 6-man team when you only have 7 dressed down.

Went to my daughter's volleyball game tonight.  Nothing more exciting than a 5th/6th grade volleyball game.

I still don't understand the reason for repecharge instead of a consi bracket.  There is plenty of time to run a full consi bracket.

At home tonight with 3 kids, trying to get the house ready for a neighorhood bbq tomorrow (we're cooking one of our kids' 4H goats).  Kids are fighting with each other, I'm yelling at them and not getting anything done.  The wife is away at a Pure Romance party with a bunch of her friends.  I might be quitting my diet and drinking some beer tonight.

International / Re: Green, Gwiz, Burroughs, Cox

Green 1-1 and out
Gwiz  0-1 and out
Burroughs, made it to Semis 3-1 lost to Sidakov will wrestle for Bronze
Cox  3-0 and going for Gold!

I am surprised at Gwiz, he lost and then the guy that beat him lost and then the guy that beat him lost.  Not sure what happened there.
Green, is good in USA, not so much anymore at WC's.

Burroughs had a good run, lost to Sidakov 4-3, just couldn't get in the other gear I guess.   Big bracket.
Cox just chunked through and is in the finals.

So we have at least 1 medal in six weights, possibly 2.

Burroughs has made a career out of winning at the very end.  Sooner or later that is going to come back to bite you.  I thought that Gwaiz was on a level just below Gino and Akgul, almost by himself.  I would have bet he would of wrestled for a medal.  Cox might be the best American wrestler right now.

We got a nice rain last night (0.2") neighboring county got 4.2" in 24 hours and 3.8 of it in about 45 minutes, some serious erosion in spots.

He is fine.  He called the boss told her that he was sick, she said to try to come in if possible.  He said OK, and went back to bed.  Turns out he has the flu and will be out for at least 2 days.

In our area we have 5 bus routes, only two of them are covered by local people.  The bus company has to send drivers from all over the region to our area because they can't find drivers here.  We have no subs, and no extras.  Going to be an interesting few days.

Good morning.  Not a great start to Tuesday.  I'm a photographer but I also am a school bus driver, had a driver this morning (1 of the  5 for our district) not show up this morning and no one knew he wasn't going to be there. Not a great start to the day.  Lots of confusion and pissed off parents.  Still trying to figure out what's going to happen this afternoon.  Not sure if he'll be here or if there is someone else to fill in for him.

I keep thinking that the US Greco is going to make a jump and it just doesn't happen.
