With regard to Coon, I don't see him being our rep if Gwiz is half Gwiz.  I just don't think Coon has that ability to turn it on against a quality opponent.  Just  my observation.  I would love to see him do well, but I don' think it will be in FS.

Yep, very impressive.  They did better than could have been expected.   That is just great news.

It's my design. Why is it like a ukulele? It plays four notes together, tuned like the four strings of a uke. The fret contacts match the uke's frets so the chord positions are the same. The notes can be played separately or all together.

Why is it not like a uke? It doesn't look like one. I can change the pitch over a 3-octive range. I can change the tone of the notes. I can add vibrato with adjustable depth and speed. I can change the decay time of the notes. I can shift the pitch down a half-step by touching a contact. I can have it sound a perfect A (440 HZ) to use in tuning the other instruments. It needs to have its batteries recharged every so often. It needs to have an external speaker plugged in (the little built-in speaker is OK for practicing, not for performing).

Like I said, it's pretty cool.  Nice job!

Hoping to get the grass cut today.  Hopefully it doesn't rain.  But it is Seattle where rain is almost always happening.

Well Brands was a pretty fair wrestler.

Both of them were!

Or my choice.  I'd say it is time for him to go.  He has not raised the level of wrestling at OSU for years.  He was the assistant that helped Gable dominate as a coach, he led Iowa to high finishes, went to OSU after getting fired and hasn't really done much.  Winning PAC 10 titles doesn't mean much to me in this case.

I'd like to see him go.  I don't think he has as a priority the best interests of his wrestlers.  We have a well known poster here who removed one son from the program and the younger recruit went elsewhere.  It was due to Z.  Bring in Mike Z and the new Z might make a change.  I just sense no hunger in Jim Z lately.

That's pretty cool.  Is this your design?   Sounds more like a synth or organ or accordian than a ukulele, in my opinion.

But just the same, that's pretty cool!

It happens right before US Nationals and they probably need to compete there to get into Final X.  Dake, there is some talk of him going 74 at US Nationals even though he accepted the finals position in Final X for 79kg.

You know, it seems to me that you would want your best at the US nationals, otherwise, it is not truly a US Nationals.  I would think USAWrestling would move US Nationals so that these guys could easily compete.
