No it didn't affect the live wrestling on the main channel.

I'm hinting that some teams are supporting the event while others are not, and the number of coaches supporting are on the ebb tide.

TOM Top 20 team representation

School    Points

2    Ohio State    0  (team participated in the Princeton Open, same venue on the day prior)
4    Iowa    0
5    Virginia Tech    0

Look at the clustering in that top 20

Iowa (#2 Sorensen, #3 Kemerer)
Minnesota(0/0) #2 Lizak, #7 Wanzek
Nebraska ( #4 Berger)
Ohio State (#2 Martin, #2 B Jordan and #5 M Jordan all wrestled and won in the same Jadwin Gym the day prior) (K Snyder put on a clinic in Jadwin earlier in the afternoon)
Virginia Tech (#4 Chishko, #7 McFadden, #2 Haught)

More than a few guys that coulda.......shoulda

No bones with either Cornell or Wisci
Cornell(0/0) When was the last time Cornell had only 1 wrestler in the top 10, 2 in the top 20
Wisconsin (0/0) 2 in the top 20.  I'm curious how they even get ranked as a top 10 team

Bo Jordan was #3 in at least a couple rankings, #1 and #2 wrestled.... quit crying.
Haught was on the card until late
Chisko was probably passed over for a hometown boy at #5, not a travesty by any means
Berger didn't wrestle at Daktronics(maybe injury or weight issues)

So 7 guys shoulda coulda in your mind. You have no clue if their weight loss plan will allow them making weight, their injury status, or any reason for why they would decline. Get off your high horse.

More factoids for you
14 teams are represented with the top 3 spots in all weights and only 12 if you consider the top 2 ranked guys.

12 different teams were represented at the classic. Teams with multiple were: Penn State, Arizona State, NC State, Northern Iowa, Michigan, Rider, and Princeton.

5 wrestlers were from non-Top 20 teams
Wyoming
Princeton X2
Rider X2

once again, it was not as bad as you are trying to make it sound.

Just because you are LAZY

Per Intermat Rankings
125- #3 vs. #4, #1 is injured, #2's team had a dual
133- #1 vs. #2
141- #2 vs. #3
149- #3 vs. #5, #5 was Princeton guy
157- #6 vs. #7
165- #5 vs. #15 #15 was Princeton guy, #6-14 a lot of guys passed over or declined
174- #1 vs. #2
184- #3 vs. #4
197- #1 vs. #2 announced, but scratched
285= #3 vs. #4

(Number wrestled/Number could have)
Penn State(2/4)
Retherford
Nolf
Joseph
Nickal

Ohio State(1/4)*
Tomasell- Injured
M. Jordan
Martin
Snyder
*Moore scheduled, but scratched late

Oklahama State(1/2)
Heil
Rogers

Iowa(0/2)
Sorenson
Kemerer

Virginia Tech(0/1)
Chisko #4, probably go passed over for a Princeton wrestler

Missouri(Had a dual)(0/1)
Levallee

Nebraska(0/1)
Berger- Didn't wrestle at Daktronics

Illinois(0/1)
Martinez- training for U23's maybe

Michigan(2/2)
Massa- Wrestled at MSU
Coon- Wrestled at MSU

Teams with no one declining
Lehigh(1/0)
Arizona State(2/0)
NC State(3/0)
Northern Iowa(2/0)
South Dakota State(1/0)

Cornell(0/0)
Minnesota(0/0)
Wisconsin(0/0)
Stanford(0/0)
Edinboro(0/0)
Virginia(0/0)

In conclustion
Of the top 20 teams you listed, 6 didn't have anyone that would have been invited per the rankings. Other teams with kids having reasons to decline, Missouri had a dual, Illinois Martinez training for U23's, Virginia Tech's Chisko probably passed up. Add in the five teams that didn't have anyone decline, you have 14 of the top 20 with solid reasons for not being represented.

Of the six teams that could have sent guys only Iowa and Nebraska did not send at least one guy. Ohio State had Moore, but his match was scratched late.

Your assumptions once again are based on very little other than just making things up as you go.

So you aren't smart enough to go to Fli, Tom, or intermat and find which top 2 ranked guys were on those teams?

Check the finances of the Nittany Lion wrestling club to see if they got any anonymous contributions from New Jersey.

Don't be a cheap ass and pony up the $10.

Wrestling people are such turds when they don't want to pay for things.

What are the chances he screws up before even wrestling one match in an Iowa singlet?
