Fay took it easy on Lewis I imagine out of respect. Easily had a big throw at the beginning of the 2nd but opted for a gentle finish. He should go to Veteran Worlds, they have been many world medalist compete in them.

I wish him luck but do not think he will be competitive vs top young wrestlers. I will definitely watch his matches in CB.

Would not be suprised if Ohio State loses Heskett also. I'm sure he is on the short list for the ISU head job.

I've already reserved my room. My daughter worked in Omaha for five years so I know the town well. Lot of good restaurants downtown just across the river, CB does have casinos and Omaha has a great zoo too.

I would be very surprised if Bono gets the job.

USA Wrestling may not be doing a great job but I do not see that they are doing terrible. Things need to improve but I remember the old days before the USWA.

Good luck to Penn State and their new coach. Cael will mostly likely name his staff in the next week or two. Will he bring in all new assistants?

I think Heskett is the frontrunner. Maybe they will try to get Gable to return.

I talked briefly to Steve at the NCAA. He is definitely our most active wrestler on the National Team (top3). He think he will win a World Championship before he is finished.

He returned to the mats in 2002 losing in the finals of Veteren Worlds in division E (56and over). Then in 2003 he won the gold. Interestling he competed at 63k which basically was his weight class in won the Olympics in. Most vets are 10 to 20 pounds above their weight classes they competed at in their prime.

He wrestled for Japan. Won 1964 and 1968 Olympics and had an undefeated carreer in the NCAA. Now that narrows it way down.

I understand why the IOC cut the number of weight classes, do not agree with it but understand. I do not understand why FILA does not increase the number of classes. They should have at least 10, 12 would be better for the World Championships.
