Unbelievable.  Also, I use to think Russian women were ugly until I saw the girl in this band - top 10 all time.

Probably just a dull blade.  Hit the dirt with it once and it is dull.

I am currently working on one that has a 80 degree angle to the house 8 feet away.  Trunk is 2' diameter.  I began working on it in January.  It has been piece by piece here and there.  No branches left, just a 20' giant bottle tree remaining.  I'll put come-alongs on it and cut the top ten feet off; then, the remainder.  I have about 20 hours labor on it already.

I saw so many movies with her in them growing up.  She was a lovely and wonderful actress.

Allen gets lots of top talent to move there.  Much money goes into funding their sports programs.  Correct me if I am wrong, Bo moved there for high school.

You answered 11 of 11 questions correctly

Sorry guys. This proves the quiz was rather pedestrian. If I got 11 of 11 correct, it wasn't difficult, at all. Ask CTC, I'm not that intelligent.
The reason I frequent this site is because most of the posters on here are intellectually way above the average Joe.  The average Joe would probably only get half of them correct.

OK Akin, what con are you baiting now?   ;D

11 of 11.

You're about the most unscientific person I've ever interacted with. How many tries did it take you to get to that score?
Sparky, is that you Sparky?

One important thing to remember is that the conclusion you should be trying to get to is not whether black holes definitely do or don't exist. You'll never get there, since scientific theories are inherently tentative. What you should hope to finally decide for yourself is whether all the currently available evidence better supports the hypothesis that they do exist or the hypothesis that they don't exist.
Kind of reminds me of Einstein coming up with his theory of General Relativity.  The whole scientific community doubted him.  He was the lonely voice.  He was also the only correct voice.

To be upfront, my position runs slightly contrary to my creationist worldview.  The existence of black holes strengthens my position.  I am simply in a wait and see mode.  I could go either way.  Too often, the scientific community gets all excited and jumps to conclusion prematurely.  As I said earlier, "patience".

I will listen to both sides of the coin for awhile and not giddy happy jump to any conclusions for quite some time.

I would also like to hear both sides of the coin. Would you provide me a few references to the credible current arguments against the existence of black holes? Thanks.
I use Duck Duck Go as a search engine.  Google works too.

Could you be a pal and do that for me?

No, in this case, the responsibility is yours. If you're concerned that they might not take you seriously, I don't think that will be a problem once you've informed them of your academic qualifications and extensive research experience.
I'm just a follower.  I will listen to both sides of the coin for awhile and not giddy happy jump to any conclusions for quite some time.  Science can't even tell me how an ant's brain works yet  alone a shadow photo of a "black hole".
