I don't think I've ever seen Snyder that gassed.  I'll write that one off to still recovering from the trip home from Yarygin.
That's what I thought as well. Jet lag is brutal though it was disappointing for them to lose the dual that way.

i get it, except for the "unsafe" commentary.  I'm not sure of the context he is using the word which is being tossed around every which way on campuses.  I presume he is not inferring physical harm, but fairness in being able to hold his weight class, or retaining his current scholarship value.

As for Metcalf, you've got an Iowa / Brands lifer, coaching for Iowa State.  I am sure his state of mind is not where it should be.
He clearly shot himself in the foot with the “unsafe” comment. Someone who needs a safe space should likely look in other than a wrestling room.

Looks like the dual was pretty competitive. No doubt OSU has got the edge but it wasn't lopsided and Lee definitely served everyone notice.

Zahid is at the back of the pack with only 3 falls so far.

Nolf has 12 pins in 14 bouts, a forfeit and a tech fall.

Zain's train has 11 falls, 2 techs and a major in tow.

Can you give me some credit for getting the “Za” right??

What’s up with Downey??
Nothing.  He is still unattached and doesn't certify yet until he is officially a Hawkeye; then, he will go 184.
So he can compete after the break?
It is looking that way.  He finished his courses at ISU.  Now, waiting on passing being official and then officially accepted to Iowa.
One can only hope he has his poop in a group this time around.

Yeah - I think Pueblo is ONLY 4500 feet above sea level, whereas Laramie WY is 6000.  I suppose for an NCAA tourney they could get there early to get acclimated.

Still - it HAS been a while!

CSU is in Ft. Collins. CSUP in Pueblo.

Yes, I was just thinking this morning Denver would be a nice spot.
