Or I'm at work and haven't been on since last night.  One of the two.  But what do I know, the two of you know everything.    No not the same Chop.

So are you trying to claim these words are not saying you want ban to go away and not be part of this community?

[qoute] "And before you go crying to the mods I already reported myself volunteering to take a vacation if it means you go away and get people who actually want to be part of a community instead of argue.  Word"

Note to ban....the words just before that indicate he wants you to go away.  Sounds to me like he doesn't want you to be part of said community.

after a three week vacation in China (seeing the Great Wall was on my wife's bucket list).

Tons of people everywhere, and they are all crazy drivers.  Pr our tour guide, traffic signal are regulations in the U.S., suggestions in Italy and decorations in China.  Our guide was from Xian, which he called a "small town of about 8 million people".  He wasn't joking.  Compared to Beijing, Shanghai and Chonging, it was a small town (Chonqing was the largest at about 33 million).  New high rises going up everywhere.

For the engineers out there, the Yangtze River dam is the largest (per power generation) in the world, with thirty two 700 megawatt generators.  The Chinese government relocated 1.3 million residents out of the area that would be flooded by the dam.

I think the locals must have confused me with Jason Tsirtsis.  Every market I went to, they said, "Hello, T-shirts.".  I only bought two shirts, one with a dragon on the front and one that said, "I climbed the Great Wall".  At the risk of being political, there was also one at most stores showing our president dressed in a Red Brigade uniform, with the caption, "Oba-Mao".  I don't know if that means they liked him, disliked him or just thought it was a neat play on words.

It was an interesting trip, but it's great to be back home.
Welcome back Bob! You said, "For the engineers out there, the Yangtze River dam is the largest (per power generation) in the world..." I wondered how large the dam is for those of us who are not engineers?
Aren't all joints a marvelous work of engineering?
Yes, you are correct. The Great Engineer.

Yes indeed nature through biological evolution has resulted in some amazing thing and what is even more amazing is the human capacity to  figure it out. :D
