A) with Howe not wrestling or going to school last year i don't think he needed any kind of release

B) if Mich wasn't willing to give him a full scholly (or close to it) for one year, they're on crack. they gotta have money laying around. they only recruit 2 guys a year.

i was there when they were filming part of this at the Final Four in easton two years ago.

didn't realize what they were doing. they had a couple cameras and boom mics and stuff.

at the time, i thought it was a little weird.

cool though that this is what it was for.

Great stuff, Grimm. being from near Philadelphia, i remember Relaford very well.

Griffin was 1st and 2nd at last two S32's

in the same brackets, Gresham was 4th and 3rd. and beat Huston Evans (St. Paris Graham) a couple times, including in this year's state final.

and of course you know Reyes. NHSCA Soph and JR Champ, Flo Champ. 2 x State Champ

wow. that is a good OH team. pickett is good. and Lehner will in all probability this summer.

Great Stuff, Wire.

Also the UW crossed Steelhead with Lake Trout from the Great Lakes. The Hybrid unfortunately is sterile, yet does produce on HELLA fun fish to persue. They act like trout, look like salmon, and fight like Steelhead

that sounds awesome.

Pa has a great trout history/inventories, but they probably don't hold a candle to the NW.

the state fish is the Brook Trout. but with all the management of the game commission/hatcheries, there's a big difference between native brookies and hatchery brookies. the natives certainly fight more, and i are more colorful. the easiest way to tell a native from a hatchery fish is that natives bellies will be more yellow/orange as opposed to white. unfortunately natives are few and far between.

People in PA (not sure if it was the state or private hatcheries) also tinkered with genetics. there are golden rainbows and even blue rainbows, neither of which will reproduce. there's a palomino trout too, not sure if they can reproduce or not.

My bad. Steelhead look better and I believe get just as big.

steelhead certainly look better. but i don't think they get near as big.

then again, frankly, i didn't know the NW had sturgeon. i thought they were a great lakes thing

great stuff, Rock

Wire, you, my friend, are lucky.

nothing like the trout/salmon up there, i hear.

the only time i'll be away from wrestling this summer, is when im fishing.

thanks Tom.

i was aware that he de-committed, but hadn't heard about this.

word was that he was down to Minny and Central Michigan.

Real Season?

this is when the fun starts.

school year wrestling is boring. (hs, anyway)

College / Re: Ness takedown. Yes or No >>>

herb, that's true.

in fact, neither wrestler needs to have a body part in bounds.

the circle is, for all practical purposes, a cylinder that reaches up off the mat into infinity.

Ness' feet could have been in mid-air so long as they were inside of that cylinder.

however, if the other wrestler (in this case, Molinaro) is off the mat; on the floor, the stage, the gymnasium, whatever...

it's called dead at that point.
