Copied From California Wrestler Forum

2010 NUWAY Americas Cup June 4th and 5th
June 4th @ Cal State Fullerton. All gate receipts go directly to CSUF. Tickets are $10. Meet starts at 5pm. We are hoping to have great support as CSUF needs all the help they can get. Dan Hicks and Coach Risto have worked hard and with the help of the California wrestling community have ensured a 2010-2011 season. We need to show their administration that wrestling is important to us by packing the gym. We also need to show those who have spent their own money to get here that we appreciate them. This will be the first of many events where people travel great lengths to help us save west coast wrestling.

for the same event?

Yes. If we had got our ORWAY org going sooner, we'd be sending a team here. Instead we'll be hosting our own event at a date to be determined this summer.

Interesting. CA USAW bans people today for promoting this event that will benefit CA wrestling. Just shows where their loyalties lie. They'd rather see CA wrestling crumble before their very eyes so they don't lose their stipend and power.

I ant to thank SCWAY and NUWAY for putting on such a great event, both live and online. There were a ton of great matches and upsets and it made for a great weekend of wrestling. I look forward to many more of these events.
