What is your favorite wrestling terminology??
« on: October 13, 2010, 10:19:05 AM »
If one previously tech falled someone....let's say yesterday..or even last year....one can ( and should ) say TECH FELLED.

I also like the term THREW for expressing the thought of the pin.  "He pinned him" doesn't sound as good as "He THREW him".   He THREW 'EM UP!!    Its almost like he had bad Chinese or something for dinner.

You got video of this?
Imagine the good that could be done, if people were less worried about their differences, and more worried about doing good for everyone.

If you were on the receiving end then the past tense would be tech failed.

I was sitting front row with Chuch Norris and Iron Mike and we were all amazed at Mastons mad skills.

When someone is in an over-under and the other guy is pushing forward way too hard... "LAUNCH HIM!!!"

Randy Lewis would always say, "SKY HIM!  I sky'd him" - then Lewis would toss the guy in the air.

Another favorite is when one guy is on his back and he appears to be pinned... the crowd lets out what sounds to be a long, low pitched BOOO.... but they're really yelling GLUED... HE'S GLUED!!!

He's glued?  Must be a Midwest thing.  In all my years in the sport I have never heard that.  Kind of think you just made it up...

No I did not make it up... but similar to the "Glued" I also get a kick out of when there is a near take-down but the ref has not awarded the points yet and the crowd yells "TWOOOOOOO"
