Yeah it took a special type of Hawaiian bred Zoisa grass. We had to install that with plugs every 6 inches like a checkerboard. Couldn't turf, way too expensive. It grew in and looked great word.

We have only had one warm week here this year. Our wheat crop (we grow about 1,000 acres each year) is almost 3 weeks behind schedule. Past couple of years we were in the middle of harvest by now. This year we might be 3 weeks if not a month away.

Today in the afternoon is supposed to be the beginning of sunshine here for a week. It has been rainy and overcast for 2 weeks so we deserve it. It has been colder and nasty than usual this July. Horrible really. Did you ever think you'd never have to water the garden? Well, that's where we are at. Word

We also lost power for a few hours. Went to church yesterday and saw some wind damage along the way. Church steeple blown over, few trees down and barn and house roof damage. We made it through with just some leaves scattered about. Lucky.
