Another dreary day in store, just enough rain to be a nuisance, like walking in a fog.

Clear here this morning, and a little cold, turning to rain by noon.  Then tomorrow no rain.  Then Thur - Wed, rain.  It's a wonderful life word

I watched him make it.

Have fried onion and green pepper on the side.

Slice your roll and place the cut sides down on the griddle to brown them

take 5 slices of roast beef....not the frozen minute steak slabs from the grocer freezer....and spread them on a hot griddle for 1 minute

Flip onto side 2, add two slices of yellow American over the mess and sprinkle the onion and green pepper on top. Sliced onion and pepper works too.

Splash the griddle with water and place a pot lid over it. It quickly steam melts the cheese.

Let that sit a minute while you take the bread off the griddle and slop mayo on both sides of the bread.

Use a spatula to scrape up the heap and slide it on the bottom half of the roll.

If you can't eat mayo, try heating up some of your favorite BBQ sauce with the peppers and onions, and spread that on top of the steak and cheese..
