Middle son's family is now down with COVID. Both mom and dad were triple vaxxed. First the mom, then the dad, then youngest of the kids. She's a speech therapist teacher at grammar school. They can't work with kids with a mask on since they work on word formation. Oldest kid has not tested pos as yet despite the close at home contact. All are doing fine, initial scratchy throat, fever and cough. Now all 3 families have had it.
COVID rules are quirky. If you get it, you can end quarantine 5 days after first pos test. If you are a close contact, minimum 10 day quarantine even if you test neg. The positive mom can return to school tomorrow, the negative kid can't until next week.
