There are people I would take a bullet for and others that I would like to put a bullet in.

Ben Clymer 184 Hofstra-not spectacular but SOLID;  has been stuck once in college and that was a cheap call roll through -current CAA champion . Has more 1 point losses than any one in div I .

Matt Kaylor 157/165 Binghamton-CAA champ and 28 match winner last year .

Mike McClure-MSU-kis is nails but cannot consistently beat Rizqallah

149-Brad Squires -Ohio-had wins over Green and Corby last year -young talented kid in a weak weight class in MAC

all i can think of off top of my head .

I think AJ AA's this year . Talked with Sean -last years 157 for MSU -RS this year-and he says Jones is actually working hard this year . IMO, that was his only drawback-that and no neck .:)
shane young 125 West Va, is tough as well

I think Dalllago 184 Illinois will surprise folks this year.

I wonder if the new coaching staff at Illinois will help Conrad Polz turn the corner.

Ya know -there were 2 guys who gave andrew Howe hell-Poltz and DeBerry ASU-Poltz can't win a match any more and DeBerry got stuck in wrestle offs -so HUGE a step from HS to college -some make it-some don't . If Perry can't get through to Poltz-no one can .

I thought Polz was going to break out after his steller fs performance before last season so I drafted him....then dropped him mid-season.

It's funny you mention Polz and Howe....coming out of High School the boards were going nuts on Welch and Winston...Howe was in the conversation as well as Polz but it was clear by the buzz that he was on the next lower tier.  Unless you were a hoosier then you knew the real deal.

Whatever happened to Alex Meade? That was a bundle of talent that has disappeared from D1.

the last I heard he was at a JUCO in Kansas ? It really is strange how Andrew received so little attention . He'd beaten college guys at Midlands and still everyone talked about Winston/Welch/Poltz and the kid from Virginia who just disappeared ( Charles maybe ?) Andrew may not look like the Hulk yet is so physical and has the heaviest hands in wrestling . i'd love to see a healthy AH and DT go at it .

Where is Lehigh's Austin Meys? And Akin, where is Tanner Eitel?  He isn't on VT's roster.

I might make a contrasting thread of guys that WERE drafted and NEVER should have been.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Austin Meys contracted an illness that stopped his wrestling career.

Tanner is at a JUCO in NY, with the hopes of getting into Cornell next year.
