Obviously not a good showing for our gophers.  I'm the last guy who is going to come on here making excuses or whinning about this or that.  I just wish some of the MN fans would quit hyping our freshmen and new guys and just let them wrestle.  Ness and Dardanes made freshmen mistakes which will happen. So lets move on and learn from this one.

Totally agree... But the conditioning issue is not a freshman mistake.

That is what disappointed me the most as a fan.

I think Minnesota did pretty well, they just ran into a better team.  Seriously, Minnesota wrestled Cornell at Cornell, that is a tough place to come away with a win.  If the issue was gassing, which a lot of guys at the webcast thought, then the issue will resolve itself by Big Tens or NCAAs.

I thought Sonny Yohn looked injured early in his match.  That's not an excuse, Simaz was winning before Yohn started looking gimpy.

Any day Minnesota loses is a good day for me, but losing to Cornell is even better.  I have always been a fan of Rob Koll.

Yes, riding time made it 5-0 Dake.

I hate to lay it on a freshmen but The Nick Dardanes match was the one to break the Gophers back. Up 6-1 with riding time after 2 you shouldn't lose.  With that said, I am more a Dardanes fan the ever and hope they both make it in the lineup soon.  Love the aggressive attitude on the feet.  Like many freshmen, the bottom wrestling is the thing you need to learn.
