RULES 12-2-2011
« on: December 12, 2011, 02:45:37 pm »
"Thank you in advance for following these basic rules when posting to any forum:

We are tweaking the rules. We started this site so people could speak freely and we continue to value you that. But some posters believe that also includes, personal attacks, name calling, belittling, cursing, and acting like a 2 year old.

Well that is not the case. We do not have many rules, but we would like members to follow them. We get things can be heated at time and at times people lose their cool. We can handle that, but we also expect you to act like an adult and take ownership of those incidents. We also expect when you do cross the line you apologize for it. That can go a long way.

If Admin and or a Mod think you post violated a rule, live with it and move on. If Admin feels that a Mod used their powers wrong, we will correct it. If we do not agree with you, live with it.  We will discuss it and hear your case, but what we decide is the last word.

Everything below is NON-Negotiable.

1. No swearing. (we will consider context, but cursing directed at a person is not acceptable period. F’ bombs are not acceptable in any form.)
2. No personal attacks.  Attack issues and statements. (READ AGAIN)
3. No soliciting or advertising.
4. No abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented language. (READ AGAIN)
5. No double-posting. (Post to the appropriate forum only.)
6. Every once in a while, someone comes along and the only thing they can think to write are responses like, "Who cares?" or "So and so sucks!". Such posts will be deleted.
7. No Nudity! (read again some of you)
9. NO TROLLING. (No creation of threads for the sole purpose of flaming someone).

Consequences

1.   Mod has the ability to warn via PM on first offense (informal)
2.   Mod can issue formal warning on first offense.
3.   When an official warning is given your warning levels is clicked on by the Mod. It increases in increments of 5%. Below is how suspensions and banning works.
a.   25% = 3 days
b.   50% = 1 week
c.   75% = 1 month
d.   100% = Lifetime ban

Please report posts you feel violate said rules. Please do not abuse the reporting feature.

Everything below is something you have already agreed to when you signed up.

This site reserves the right to remove or modify any post (or maybe even an entire topic) in violation of these rules. To have a post removed, send a message to the forum moderator.

Please realize that these rules are in place to keep this site worthwhile and appropriate reading for visitors. It would get old quick with people simply swearing at and bashing one another.
