Looks like Jamil Kelly is leaving Cal Poly and heading to NC State as a coach.

Penn St was at the top of Gwiazs short list out of high school but with no scholly money it was not feasible for him. At that point in time I guess they felt McIntosh better filled a specific need. They are now overstoced in the upper weights with the exception of heavyweight. I wonder if Cale will go for him. In that room and with that schedule he could realize his full potential. At NC State ???????

Either of the Oklahomas would also be a good move. A red shirt at Ok State working with Gelogaev might just be the ticket to greatness. The one negative that I saw in his going to Binghamton was the lack of other big guys in the room.

sort of sounded from Willie last night that he wants to follow down to NCState.  when you look at their schedule it isn't a cupcake schedule either.  he'd get to see some top level talent throughout the year, which will only help.  heavyweight is gonna be TOUGH next year with some guys coming off Olys.

Ok State has Marsden who performed pretty darn well for a true freshman who has his redshirt removed so late in the year, that's not a good fit.

I think Spencer Myers will have something to say about that...

^^^Spencer Myers has his own way of wrestling, even back in high school, it was shoot doubles from standing and stand up from bottom.  He seems to be locked in to what he wants to do and seems like ain't nobody goin to change him.  Imo, Gwiaz appears to have a lot more technique.

No question Stove. Spencer is athletic and could be very good, but he has some bad habits imo.  Word is Spencer will be redshirting this season anyways.

Once again Gwiaz maintains this is not 100% for sure and that TOM jumped the gun.

IMO, if Gwis were to transfer to Oklahoma the move would take Oklahoma to the top 5 , if  not higher.
