I believe in one given match Mangrum could beat about anyone.

However,  i dont have any confidence that he could string together 5 matches against elite competition.  41 will be weaker next year, but not weak enough for MM.

You hit the nail on the head with Mangrum.... 5 in a row, is going to be tough. On any given day he can beat just about anyone...... Yet I don't think the Pac12, and the Beaves' have a tough enough schedule, day in and day out, for him to get battle tested.

Two guys to watch IMO:

Where is Maple gonna be?? And I am very interested to see how Chamberlain does, after his RS.

JO takes 149. Did I say 149? I meant 149.

Dake wins his 4th but still no Hodge.

Going to put some names out there V, or just put your yes and no out there and whoever beats that person will be the person you had in mind?  8)

Trying to edit my posts, but it won't let me.  I want to change my 174 pick to Howe.   Scribe on USAwrestling says he will be 100% and will be ready for next year.  I don't see anyone standing in his way.

I think Kilgore is the least likely of  your picks.

How battle tested was Amuchastegui when he made the finals twice? You don't need to be battle tested to win tough matches.

I will work on names, I based it on if I thought the guy you listed would win it or not.

I really do not see Ruth Winning or Z winning for sure.

i really don't see Ruth or Q big enough to move up.

put Q next to Kilgore. put Ruth next to Steinhaus.

from a team pt perspective, i'd rather leave those two there and make Matt Brown wrestle as an undersized 97.

brown at 74 makes more sense if your goal is to win national duals, not ncaa's.

maybe im wrong, i just think taking a two time finalist and a two time Top 3 and putting them at a disadvantage is risky business.

that being said, i'll still take ruth over steinhaus. but it's a risky match. rut at 74 and you can crown him now.

which leads me to another weight class concept....i wish Yohn and Storely would flip-flop

thinking about it a little more.....

what would generate more points

Brown - 4th

Ruth 4th

Q - 4th

or

Ruth - 1

Q - 2

Brown - DNP

probably a net gain, right?

Ruth may beat steinhaus, but I just do not see it he is half his size.'

Would not be surprise, but I think he is simply to small.

Matt Gentry.

I think his eligibility is up.
Since Jammen has told me twice to change my signature, I can only assume his wrestling knowledge is no longer something I can count on along with pizza and beer.
