He was a small 162 to be sure. He beat the so-so D-II guys (I can hang with them too), but as soon as he ran into a stud D-I type guy, with a hurt back (to be expected), he was toast. I am nowhere near the wrestler of Lewis, but wrestled a bunch of college wrestlers last summer, and know the feeling. You can hang with the under DI guys (well at least as long as my lungs held out), and the "trying to make the line-up" DI guys, but the starter, DI AA potential guys, are at a different level. They work you, set you up, make you work some more, set you up, and then go in for the kill. I am sure the DI guys on this board know that drill.
I took solice in that I could at least hang with the other college kids and fat/hips/stall with the HS studs. ;-)
