Judo World Championships
« on: August 28, 2013, 07:08:47 PM »
There is a thread on TheMat.com that talks about the Judo WC's and how they are streamed on youtube and all that.  Is this something wrestling could and/or should do?  If so, who would spearhead this?  I think it is a great idea.

Wrestling's done it -- the Olympic Trials (at least with streaming and archived video). While I was there, we also inserted commercials, athlete interviews, etc. into streams at events like the World Team Trials.

But even when the stream was free, the viewer count wasn't exactly high.

Any idea what kind of online numbers ESPN3 gets for the NCAA's?
