Waiver thread
« on: October 26, 2013, 09:40:14 pm »
This is the official thread for Vias to use to run the waiver process.

Please do not post on this until Vais has set it up as he sees fit.

I have a question about the waiver process:  Do you have to drop and add in one transaction or is it just 10 additions?  For example - If I make a 2 for 1 trade I would have to drop someone to keep my roster at 16 - does that drop count against the limit of 10?  Did that make sense the way I asked it?

10 additions.  If you go 2 for 1 in a trade and you're over your roster limit, post your drop here.

That won't count towards your 10 add drops.  That make sense?

So does that mean you lose jades points this week since you had him in your lineup?

No.   Because I can't get any points for J'Den this week.

Since Jade was on my starting line up roster through the lineup deadline and I"m dropping him after, I earn his points, and none from J'Den.  If I had submitted a starting lineup and done this add drop BEFORE the roster deadline, I couldn't get Jade's points.

Herkey can confirm, but this is the rule as I've understood it.

This is the way weve always done it in our TWT league and it's the way we do it in my Herkys Jerkys league too.

How did you assign waiver priority?

It looks like the old tried and true "You snooze, you lose" method, eh?

I think it is reverse draft order. And once you grab someone I think you drop to end of line

For Free agents, it's first come first serve.  For guys dropped, we have waiver priority list that was determined by reverse draft order.
