Life is a long time.

Not as long as life without parole!

Here's a silly question but I really do wonder if the rules specifically cover my question.

He is banned for life from greco-roman wrestling. Since freestyle is a different sport, can he do that?

Sounds like the plot to Blades of Glory.

I read a different article that said he was banned from FILA events. So since freestyle is still FILA ran I would say he can't go all Blades of Glory on us.

Just a fun fact about blades of glory

Technically the wording if the ban did allow them to compete in couples skating so that loophole was correct, but the governing body defines couple as requiring a man and a woman so that particular usage of the loophole was Hollywood Magic. Great and hilarious movie though, a once saw it on a South Korean flight and they edited out all references to North Korea, it was interesting.
