When I try to post a reply, I get the following error message in a pink background:

"The following error or errors occurred while posting this message: Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message."

I was still logged in so I tried reposting, closing the website and reopening it and logging out. None of these worked. When I tried to log out, I got a "logout failed" message.

This is frustrating, as I have lots of extremely intelligent and insightful comments to make.

Try hitting the preview first; then, come back and hit post.  It has been doing that to me for a while now.  Once I actually post, the rest goes OK from then on.

I had the same problem but I found if I clicked on "preview" and "spell check" and then hit "post", it would go through .

there's always the "clear cookies" method ... but I'm with BNR and go the "preview" method when it's acting up

Not with me.  I only have a printer connected to my computer.  Can't see that being a factor.

agree.  If I'm just on the chrombook i'm fine.  but when I come here at work, i have to preview before post, then when I get home and back on chrombook I have to preview post again.


May also have something to do with some changes to the site coming.
