Some more news on Lashley.

He’s been wrestling for 18 years and won three national amateur wrestling titles at Missouri Valley College from 1996-1998. He’s an Armed Forces champion as well, but that’s not how most people know Bobby Lashley.

Wrestling for the WWE for three years seems to take center stage, but that’s a distinction Lashley hopes will take a backseat after joining American Top Team.

“Coming into MMA, I just wanted to make sure people realize that I’m coming in this for real and I want to be known as a fighter that used to be a professional wrestler as opposed to a professional wrestler that’s now fighting,â€

I voted no, but given time, or at least seeing him fight once I may change that

I didn't vote, actually nulled my vote.  I don't think he hang with Brock quite yet.  I am sure he can hang with several heavyweight fighters simply because of his wrestling credentials and freakishly athletic build.

I agree much like lesnar, if the guy can learn to fight he may be a force

Yep, I have seen his one and only fight.  There wasn't much to witness because it ended quick.  There is no doubt of his athletic prowess.

Brock is a better wrestler, but as a complete fighter, I'm not so sure Lashley is that far off right now.  Lashley is VERY powerful.

Remember, Brock isn't exactly "Fedor Polished" yet.  I would say even now, he'd give Brock all he could handle.  I still think Lesnar would take him, though.
