One person I read stated that WA is the most liberal state in the US, thus the reason why they will never add wrestling at the college level(D1). The more I think about it, the more I agree.

By that logic I will assume it's only a matter of time before Mississippi starts churning out college wrestling programs.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

I don't disagree with that assessment, but WA is pretty liberal about most everything. It wouldn't surprise me if college AD's used that as an excuse.

As far as Miss. goes, poorest state in the Union. They are lucky they have anything in that state.

Like I said liberal or conservative makes zero difference in supporting the starting of a wrestling program.  Absolutely zero difference.
