Most Difficult

We all have different insights as to what makes their sport so hard.   Start the debate.
If every black male 18-35 applied for a conceal & carry permit, and then joined the NRA in one day; there would be gun control laws in a second.

Michael Jordan was generally regarded to be a super athlete but was totally lost trying to hit a baseball in the minor leagues.  Hitting a 95 mph fastball when you have about 1 second to react is incredibly difficult.

One of Hank Aaron's teammates asked him how he was so effective at the plate and Hank said something about seeing the stitches on the ball as it comes to the plate. The guy laughed out loud "I can't even see the stitches".

Actually its hitting that major league curveball consistently that separates the major from the minor leagues.

From a skill level, I'd say golf.

Putting the ball in play is not the same as getting a base hit.

Losing > 12% of your body weight in a few hours may be stupid, but it's a task in sports, and it's brutal.

Hitting a goddamn baseball? Are you kidding me? A RETARD can hit a goddamn baseball. Half the little leaguers in the country are batting .300 or better...yeah, really hard.

Most people's "proof" that hitting a baseball is so hard was Ted Williams saying it was hard.  Yup, no vested interest in that answer, huh Ted? Way to glorify yourself. That's like Cael Sanderson saying wrestling is the most cerebral sport.

Running a marathon is the toughest thing on that list and nothing else is close. Running sucks.

 - My son is retarded and he can't hit a baseball.

I think Toby was offering up some personal experience there. Don't be too hard on him.  ;)
