The list is limited to vocal performances. There are also some nice instrumental versions, particularly violin.

What are we 'sposed to do? Go listen to each one and take notes?

Yes, and no slacking off.
Several are on "ignore".   I won't argue with the ignorant and disrespectful..

Clearly the worst poll ever.

Sure, why not? Except you may want to skip the other 25, unless you're a really big fan of Perry Como or RandyTravis or Tennessee Ernie Ford or ...

If you're still too lazy busy to check them out, you could just go by what you know of the performers. If vocal purity is your thing, you'll probably pick Doris Day or Glen Campbell or Jim Reeves. If you like hearing the way people talk in Kentucky, Loretta Lynn is the obvious choice. If you're intrigued by the idea of an a capella solo with a "vocal band" accompaniment, try the Bill Gaither version with The Mullins. If you want a nice solo by a woman who will be dying of cancer any day now, Joey Feek's the one for you. If you go for honky-tonk with plenty of live action on the keyboard, Jerry Lee Lewis is hard to beat. Or maybe you just like watching Dolly breathe.

You get the idea...

It's kind of like Innagadadavida.  Which is truncated for In the Garden of Eden.

Who out there knew that little piece of trivia?  Now for the second piece of trivia - Who named that song?

Clearly the worst poll ever.

That's when I knew this is a good poll. But a few more votes are needed to reach a statistically significant level. I'm pulling for Jerry Lee.

Those are good, but not on the list because it's the wrong song. But you knew that.
