What are we 'sposed to do? Go listen to each one and take notes?
Sure, why not? Except you may want to skip the other 25, unless you're a really big fan of Perry Como or RandyTravis or Tennessee Ernie Ford or ...
If you're still too
lazy busy to check them out, you could just go by what you know of the performers. If vocal purity is your thing, you'll probably pick Doris Day or Glen Campbell or Jim Reeves. If you like hearing the way people talk in Kentucky, Loretta Lynn is the obvious choice. If you're intrigued by the idea of an
a capella solo with a "vocal band" accompaniment, try the Bill Gaither version with The Mullins. If you want a nice solo by a woman who will be dying of cancer any day now, Joey Feek's the one for you. If you go for honky-tonk with plenty of live action on the keyboard, Jerry Lee Lewis is hard to beat. Or maybe you just like watching Dolly breathe.
You get the idea...
