Bone Tomahawk

Streaming on Prime if you're a member.  Genre crossing with it being almost a horror/thriller set in a western.  "slow burn" used to describe the story telling and I agree with that description.  Violence was a little more over the top, especially in one scene, for my liking BUT overall I enjoyed it a lot.


Great cast, not a color by numbers flick by any means.

i really enjoyed jessica jones.  Better than daredevil for me, but liked both a lot.

I really enjoyed Bone Tomahawk. I thought it dragged just a little bit but not enough to really turn me off. I thought it could have played just as well with realistic savages but that is sort of what makes this stand out.

Pretty average oater. The action wasn't bad. Special effects were quite good. I'd say except for the slaughter and torture scenes at the end that it was a conventional western. Acting was decent.

I did enjoy the vivisection, but there were too many plotholes for me to consider it a top of the line western.
