Day 2

Provisor opens with Assakalov, Uzbekistan @ 85K

Smith opens with Shariati, Azerbaijan @ 130K

Both go 1 and done

Disappointing Greco results so far.

I see DISH is in a dispute with NBC, so no local NBC on Dish.  That sucks

NBCOlympics.com   NBC coverage of wrestling has been non-existent including tape delay of the finals.  Unless you have to sign in with a DISH access code....then you're stuck in Rio Bay

I saw a gold two bronze medal matches yesterday on NBCSN.  I doubt if anything will make NBC unless there is a US wrestler in a medal match.

I watched Smith, Bisek, Thielke and Provisor or NBC Olympics thru DISH.  Didn't take much of my day up.

I really thought Smith and Bisek would do better.

Our guys seem competitive on their feet but lack in Par Terre.  Can't turn on top and get turned on bottom

Not a good strategy.

Smith was pretty much wrestling a bronze medal match in his opener (that guy won bronze and the path was relatively easy), but it was disappointing getting rolled up like that.

Agreed on Bisek and I'm sure he is unhappy with it as well.  Rough tournament, but such is life when you're a marginal Greco country.  I was more disappointed by how many "wrestling fans" not only ignored Greco, but openly belittled it than the performance.  No reason for that and really shows how myopic our community is sometimes.

All is quite in Rio.

No qualifiers for 66 and 97.

On with your work.

What is the trick to watching live stream? I clicked on the links provided by Dewey167 and was only able to access Mat C. for the other I am receiving the following message: "This video is not available due to location restrictions or authorization failures." I even tried Mat C again and got this message, even though I was able to access live stream 5 minutes ago. Any ideas?
