Happy Birthday
« on: August 25, 2016, 04:43:43 PM »
....to the National Park System...100 years old today.

If you here of any of your congressional folk start talking divestiture to the states, please lick him in the balls for me.  If a she, a kick in the butt will suffice.  If its a tweener then do it once they choose a bathroom.

Divesting any national park would be criminal.

I sure hope that was a typo!

I'm guessing a law would have to be passed first and then it would not be criminal.

The Federales own massive amounts of land and that ownership may impinge on the rights of citizens. Calling a wasteland a National Park to stop resource development is wrong. On the other hand, Yellowstone is nice!

I've been to a number of national parks, but I've missed the wastelands. Which ones are those?

What's Gary Johnson's opinion (I wonder)?

Should national parks be preserved and protected by the federal government?

Gary Johnson and Hillary Clinton: Yes

You And Donald Trump’s similar answer: Yes, but allow more recreational access

My party (Divergent) hasn't taken a position on national parks.

Badlands is a good example.  Been there, very different.  Grand Canyon is a waste land out there.  Not saying it shouldn't be a National Park.  But it is a wasteland.  But there is beauty is such ruggedness.   Mt. Rainier is nice, Yellowstone beautiful, Tetons awe inspiring.

I wouldn't call the Grand Canyon a wasteland.
