At a press conference Wednesday afternoon, athletics director Mark Coyle said Robinson was fired for not sharing all the information he knew about the wrestlers allegedly selling and abusing the prescription drugs

He didn't  cooperate with the university’s internal investigation and did not answer questions.  He also destroyed evidence.  What witch hunt are you referring to?

I have zero interest.  My opinion J Rob was properly terminated, certainly shades of Paterno.

Reporting drug use suspicions, but not fast enough (allegedly), is akin to turning a blind eye to child rape.  Got it.

Not a shred of likeness to Paterno who was pushed out without any evidence or investigation.

For those of you who are familiar with the U of MN, you know that influential factions have been pushing to get rid of JRob since the Title IX furor.  I worked at the U and have heard the passion of their voices.  The MN Daily ran several editorials calling for his dismissal back then.  That sentiment hasn't died down.  Powerful voices pushed for his firing and the new AD Coyle became their hand puppet.

I can't wait to see what he has.  You don't head a program at a large university as long as he has without having dirt on a lot of people.

It was getting time for him to move on anyway.  It will never find it's way into a court and a settlement will be negotiated.
