Holy crap, PSU/Iowa 149
« on: January 20, 2017, 09:47:39 PM »
Two things I thought I'd never see:

1. Sorensen being involved in one of the most exciting matches I've seen in the last few years.
2. Retherford forced to stall out a win.

Wow, that was some good wrestling.  Sorensen obviously had the talent to dominate a lot of guys he controlled but squeaked by... did Collica unleash the beast?  That was fun.  Love watching PSU wrestle, and I really love to see Sorensen step up and make it an amazing match.  He can get him if he keeps it up.
I am the way, the truth, and the life.

The loss at OSU had something to do with it.

That match was at least 1000% better than everyone, including myself, were expecting it to be. What a battle!

I have hated the OT rules since the change. It's like they decided to just say, "let's make the guy who can hold on the longest after two tries the winner". I get that they were worried about a hwt maybe having a heart attack or dealing with time constraints now that the finals are live, but I hate them. Remember Q literally holding to an ankle to get the second or two he needed to win in the semis? They are garbage rules and ruined a GREAT battle once again
