For some reason TCW is deleting posts about CYC's Greco World Duals last weekend, including results. A few people have asked why, and those posts are also being deleted.

Reminds me of TheMat.com several years ago, and why I stopped reading that site.

Most of the value of these websites come from the users, so it seems to me that if some terms of service is being violated, letting the user know why would be courteous.

Agreed.  It would be useful to know why posts are being deleted.

OK, they explained it. They have a policy of no advertising clinics or camps, even if the clinic is free. I assume this is to create consistency and avoiding having to assess which clinics are ok, which are not, etc. So the deletion was because CYC listed a free Greco clinic before their tournament, as they do every year.

TCW is just being consistent.

All right then.  I don't mind deletions.  But if there is not a real reason, that's no good.
