Conor vs Mayweather
« on: August 09, 2017, 06:41:53 pm »
I say Conor goes down and goes down hard.  The only way he has a prayer is if Mayweather is just not into conditioning and training.  If Mayweather comes out of shape both in skills and conditioning, Conor may be able to do something.  Even then, I doubt it.  Conor won't have felt that kind of punch and a few of them might be enough.  Boxing is a whole different set of skills than MMA.

That's my prediction folks.  What do y'all think?

Conor vs. Floyd = Archie Moore vs. Mike DiBiase

This was Archie's last fight.  Against Mike (AAU wrestling champ, NCAA qualifier, and wrestled at the University of Nebraska), who was making his pro debut.

Mike was also an accomplished wrassler as well and chanced Archie for a boxing match.  Archie obliged.

From a report from someone at the fight:

"And Dibiasi was hopelessly outclassed. Moore took no hostages, and was simply going to work, with no time for any wrestling ballyhoo. Just a textbook slaughter of a man who did not have boxing skills, but may have come to fight."

Archie won via TKO round 3.

Only a fool would pay for this fight.
If every black male 18-35 applied for a conceal & carry permit, and then joined the NRA in one day; there would be gun control laws in a second.

I'll wait for youtube.  I think Mayweather can't believe the windfall he is about to receive.

Lots of it.  Tens and hundreds of millions.  If I was Conor, I'd fight Mayweather for what they are saying he will make, around 30 million assuming he loses.  Mayweather could make 200 million if he wins.  That's why the fight is happening.

I predict that Mayweather will be very careful and the right will go the distance. Mayweather via UD in a boring fight. McGregor then retires and never defends his UFC belt. He goes into acting or professional wrestling.

The boxing coach at our gym called in sick today. So, I stayed after wrestling practice and did some bag work with about a dozen youths tonight.

I think I am now qualified by the  NVAC to get a crack at Mayweather once this farce is over on Saturday night.

The only stipulation from me is that I demand same-day weigh ins.
