ROFLMAO

Could be close.  Should be close,   RU's chances would have been far better if Ashnault was healthy.

We are fully prepared for the Tom and Terry show at the scorer's table.

Looks like a 5 - 5 toss up with bonus the difference.  Wilke is ranked much higher that the post shows.  He finished last year round of 12.
Several are on "ignore".   I won't argue with the ignorant and disrespectful..

165 & 174 look like the closest matches to me

If Iowa is within 6 at Hwt I like our chances. I am coming around on Cashe. The kid has heart and a will to win.

You know Iowa talent better than I and I think those Iowa rankings are ridiculously low.  Wilcke is ranked #40 after making to the round of 12 at the tournament last year?

Foolhardy.

While 6 of the purported starters are FR or SO, they've been in the Iowa room behind some real talent except for Stickly.

Anyone that thinks a Rutgers win isn't an upset......has no faith in T&T.

Iowa is awful down low & even with Laux & Turk I think it would still have been down 12-0 after 3

Lewis vs the bull was a Great match

And wrestlestat goes down for the count.  Big screw up on their part making Wilke the underdog.

The numbers are the numbers. It isn't some popularity contest like people seem to think it is. It's really more of a standings than a ranking.

Anyways, Sam Stoll again to seal it. He is gonna be called upon a LOT this year to win the dual.

This is not the Iowa you are accustomed to.  Sorenson is not the Sorenson of old. Its going to be a long wait before Iowa is competitive once again at nationals.

I had not heard of this change and I am not sure it is Big Ten  or across Div I.

There is only one mat ref now.  The second official handles video review only from the scoring table.

Anyway, I'd be interested in knowing how this call was handled on the broadcast

174 Grello vs  Gunther   Both are standing near the edge, Grunther has a leg and Grello has been fending of the TD.  Grunther is in the ring, Grello is off the mat.  Grunther crosses over, both feet are out and spins Grello down inside the ring and the ref calls the TD right in front of the RU coaches.  The RU coaches make a point of protesting the position of both out of bounds.

During the stoppage, the video replay of the scramble is on the screen and they even stop it with the both feet out.  The head ref on the mat asks for a video review.  The video review official reverses the decision, no TD out of bounds.  The head ref upholds his own decision and awards 2TD.

If they are going to have video review, why is that decision not the final call?

The ref for the dual was not up to B1G standards and I am sure will not back for any more RU matches.

In the end, 285 is even more critical to Iowa, Stoll needs the pin for the win.  But the call by the ref to not reverse himself in a bout that could have gone either way could well have swung the outcome of the dual.

His butt was in the cylinder.

A long time? How about next year when the only real points from Nationals they will lose are Sorensen and will be replaced by Lugo. Oh and don't forget we add Lee and that one guy Warner.

It sounds like the ref made the correct call.  But don't take my word for it take darian cruz s

"People are freaking out about that out of bounds call in the 74lb match in the Rutgers vs Iowa duel. It’s a cylinder, yes his feet might have went out but he was bent over and his butt was still hovering in bounds. Was actually the right call"
