Well, they just about pulled it off.  Nice sack at the end to stall the wind in their sails.

Tough to be a loser with stats like that.  The greatest defeat.

Congrats to the Eagles.  They believed in themselves even when the Patsies were making a come back and even when they went ahead.  True grit that.

I've always been a fan or Chris Collinsworth*, but he was an embarrassment as a broadcaster Sunday. He sure seemed to be favoring the Pats. It was ludicrous when he called for the winning TD to be overturned after the receiver took three full steps with the ball before momentarily losing his grip as he fell across the goal line. I'm like, what in the hell are you doing?

*He caught my eye many moons ago, when he pointed out 3 step vs. 5 step QB drops and how corners reacted to that. That was brand new concept to me, and presumably to others of the viewing public.  I wondered if he planned that ahead of time and discussed it with his broadcast partner and the producers back in the "trailer". If any other TV broadcasters had performed similar analyses of QB actions in pro or college football I wasn't aware of it. Now it's common place of course.

I thought that was funny too.  The ball came loose after crossing the goal line and after hitting the ground.  It was obvious he was no longer a receiver, he ran from the 6 yard line to the endzone.  He was at first calling for the play to come back and then started hedging his bets.  It was a great play for sure.

Yesterday was also a bad day for Gronkowski.  He got home and found out he had been burglarized.

....his guns and a few safes....safe contents not made public but likely hand guns and ammo.  It sure could be an interesting stash.
