UTB question
« on: February 26, 2018, 09:20:19 AM »
Top wrestler rides out bottom wrestler for 29 seconds in the UTB and go out of bounds. For whatever reason, the top wrestler needs an injury timeout, his second one nonetheless. Does this mean bottom wrestler can choose top now and ride out the last second for the win?

Now that's an interesting one that I've never heard. I am going to out that for discussion with some of my guys. I'll let you know what everyone says.

Yes, the defensive wrestler could choose top, ride his opponent for one second and win.

See case book,  8.2.1 Situation F (k) on page 59.
