Iowa may be guilty of tampering.  T. Brands has been in contact with A. Desanto for many months.  Stay tuned.

Azevedo just gave him a release.  It wouldn't surprise me if DeSanto initiated communication many months ago.

I just hope Iowa has excellent social / psychological services for students.

Who knows what he was thinking in that 3rd period against Delveccio.

He would be a huge upgrade for Iowa.  At some point they may mat an all Pennsylvania team.

the interview we got with Delvecchio after he bounced DeSanto is an instant classic.

Desanto seems like a perfect fit for Iowa.

I'd say that Spencer Lee, Gilman, Clark, McDonough, Dardanes brothers, and Boris Novachkov all around DeSanto's weight would put most rooms to shame.

For the ref's out there, here's a little off season technical quiz to keep you sharp.

You can slide it to the 9:50 mark where things start to get dicey.

1st question - did Miicic have a takedown at 6:54 ?
2nd question - did Micic have the fall at 6:56 and before the whistle, but it wasn't called because the ref was fussing over the arm hold?
3rd question - Was the arm hold illegal hold violation which not called ? or just potentially dangerous?

Let's compare:
Lee - National Champion
Gilman-National Finalist, World Medalist
Clark - National Champion
McDonough - Multiple National Championships
Delgado - National Champion

Picc-AA
Fix-nothing at college yet
Brock-AA

Yeah, OSU has a big leg up on Iowa
