I heard from someone who claims to know that Stoll and others were drunk and Stoll got the bright idea to barge into someone's (another Iowa wrestler's) room while they were sleeping to wake them up and they awoke - grabbed a gun - and shot him.  The "source" said the shooter was named "Vince".

Who knows?

Yeah, this is a real crazy story.  I'm glad Stoll is ok, but it could have been much different.

Turk was the name being thrown around as the shooter when this all went down, but I didn't hear about the storming the room while he was sleeping bit. That sounds better than the other version. For Turk anyway.
