All-2000's Teams
« on: August 09, 2018, 06:34:30 PM »
A little something that I've started today....the best lineup for a particular school consisting of wrestlers that competed since 2000.

Starting off with Lehigh...

More schools to come, let me know if you have a particular one to cover.

Neat.  How many teams do you plan to rank ?

You know certain fans will rank their favorites for you.

I have all the research done, so I could conceivably do every school, though some may not be as exciting as other. I'd like to do at least 30 or so..

Lehigh looks about right.  The only change I would suggest is Parker at 133 with Beckman backing him up.  Of course that's assuming Parker becomes a 3x AA.

Yeah, I agree...close call with those two.

I was speaking with a former Lehigh wrestler yesterday about this...He said he'd go with Dillon-174 and Hamlin-184. I was thinking of going that way too but couldn't leave out an NCAA champion in Rohn.

Can't wait for BYU's turn.    Oh wait, they gave it up before 2000.    Really unhappy about that I must say.

Pretty slick shuffle of the deck with Chris Perry at 184.

Guess at Iowa's:

125: McDonough - Spencer to take over in a couple years.
133: Juergens - Clark as backup.
141: Moore / Schwab / Marion - I'm not sure.
149: Metcalf
157: T.J. Williams - DSJ is a solid backup.
165: Perry
174: JayBo
184: Jessman Smith I guess.
197: Nathan Burak - I can't remember anyone else being great here. Warner will be taking over this spot soon.
285: Mocco - Iowa and OSU can wrestle their backups in this dual.
I am the way, the truth, and the life.
