Mekhi Lewis is the only one I've heard from.

Better question , who isn't taking an Olympic redshirt? Half of Cornell's team is taking one.

Ive heard that Fix is taking one, but my guess is he maybe waiting to see how he does in worlds first. A high placement will favor the redshirt is my guess.

Several forums seem sure that the Mizzou 141 pounder is also taking an Oly RS.
I have the following 5 guys on a fantasy roster in a keeper league and I think they all MAY be doing the same:
Yianni - confirmed by multiple sources
Kolodzik - 1 source
Mekhi Lewis - confirmed by multiple sources
Myles Amine - confirmed by at least 1 source - may compete for Moldavia or something like that
Zahid - rumored to be taking one - not yet confirmed.
I also have heard Micic will take one so he can compete for Serbia

Kolodzik is definite. I was told Micic is as well.
I think it makes sense for Fix to take one. Wow if all these people take one, it will be a down year for college wrestling. Suriano would probably walk away with a Hodge lol.

Someone also said with Olympic Red Shirts the athlete does not even register for school - just take a year off - so we should know more about those sooner once the school years start.
I hope so.

Zahid is NOT taking an Olympic redshirt. He had no chance of making the team anyway.

Technically....unofficial news.....no announcement out of Rutgers as yet and he's on the roster. He has until the 11th to add courses. Look for an official announcement the evening of the 11th or on the 12th, if he decides to take the Olympic waiver
