IMO this is a bad move. Last time they moved away from Vegas is did not have good results.

Where are they moving to? I know I could probably look it up, but I am in a lazy mood today.

Cleveland sucks!!! St Louis would be a good choice, if they are looking for a new site.

USA Wrestling is starting to adopt the fila mindset.  If it isn't broken, fix it!

The complaint I heard was there were too many distractions for the athletes.

I agree it is stupid, but that's what I was told while in Fargo. Senior wise, I think it will be okay. Junior wise, you won't see a ton of kids there.

West Jr's was considered by a lot to be tougher than Fargo at times because a lot of the tough Cadets would enter and a lot of kids entered here as opposed to Fargo because the cost was cheaper and the competition was still pretty tough.

Yeah I can see the reasoning Rock,

I don't like it.  I was thinking of going this year but not to Cleveland.  I'm on a budget and can't afford anywhere but Vegas.  I don't do anything else but eat and watch wrestling when I go so attractions don't do it for me.  Cost does it for me.  And Vegas is on the edge of what I can justify.

And how much less fun will it be for fans who wanted to take a trip out and make a two-for in getting some time in at Vegas and seeing some great wrestling. They had the best of all worlds there, if the athletes are too distracted then the coaches should be doing a better job of keeping them focused.

Now now, they are having (or were) the same conversation at themat (sorry for the mention there V, but in all fairness!!).  USAW hasn't come on as of my last viewing to 'splain.

I hate Vegas.  I'd rather not go there.  But for the wrestling I have gone because it is cheap enough to go.  They had a great venue at the Convention Center, matside access and all that.  Plus folks could go to the strip or shows or whatever.  I usually nursed a headache from the announcers and was up next morning ready to see some more.

Vegas is the best, most economical (and therefore best) place to have this event.  I guess USAW works along the line of if it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
