Supplimental Draft 12/18
« on: December 15, 2009, 06:01:14 PM »
The draft will last three rounds and will be done snake style just like the original draft. First pick will go to whoever is in last place when standings are calculated for 12/11-12/17

Since the draft will be going on during a week of competition (and a big one at that given that Reno will go off) you will be able to drop guys in the supplemental but still score their points in their line up for Reno week. People picked in the supplemental will be eligible for scoring for the first time during the Midlands/Scuffle week.

This might get moved to 12/19.  12/18 is my birthday and also my first day off of finals for this semester.

I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight to finish up papers and then I have tests tomorrow (well today really, I guess) and thursday, so Friday I might just sleep all day and go out for dinner with my parents.

Another option would be to have it over two days 12/21-12/22.  This would allow us to have RToC results available for drafting, however I know that the days before Christmas are very hectic for many so it might be better to do it early.

Let me know what you guys think

I would go for the two day 12/21-12/22.  I am gone to a tournament in Kansas City 12/18-12/19.
There are people I would take a bullet for and others that I would like to put a bullet in.

12/21-12/22 it is.  that gives AKIN more time for the scores too

Akin will calculate the scores for this past week tomorrow and use those to generate the draft order

Akin you are in charge of the supplimental, run it how you see fit.

In fact you can be in charge of the league, you are doing most of the work anyway and I dont really want to deal with it.  Just ask me if you have questions on how stuff works.

But as my last act as commish I will declare that we are NOT changing to a score-all-events system next year unless we have UNANIMOUS consent from everyone.

I vote NAY to the all-scoring events.
