Pretty sure you'll see Mizzou and Cornell scrap.  UNC as well.  I think Mizzou's other opponents will be Rider and Kent St.

Ok, thanks!  I think he wants to be a doctor, and Mizzou really pushed the med school across the street from Hearnes Center.  He's a GPA booster for sure.

I just saw Mizzou had a commit from Lane Stigall out you're way, and wondered if you were familiar with him?

Manley's has to be tops.  2 returning AA's to get to the quarters.

McGhee A - Solid win over Peters in the finals.  If he wrestles like that 4 times, he'll AA.
Synon F - His slide continues.  Weight cut, injury, lack of confidence from getting spanked by Eierman everyday, who knows?
Manley B - Looks great, out physical-ed Horan.  How bad is he hurt?  If he's no worse than all season, he'll AA.
Mayes F - Let's people stall and hang around too long.  Is he really hurt, or just pouting?  if this poor performance lights a fire ala Matt Pell in 2007, He'll probably be top 4, if not he could miss.
Barnes A - Everyone continues to sleep on Barnes.  If he doesn't get a seed, he's gonna ruin someone's day in the first round.
Lewis A - I think he makes the semis and finishes top 6 for sure.
Butler B+ - Ottinger's only rival for stalling is Walters, and Butler found ways to beat them both.  He finishes top 6.
Miklus C+ - His injury is clearly hampering his neutral offense.  Not sure what to make of his chances.  Could be top 6, could miss altogether.
Cox A - is toying with everyone.  Can't wait for MM to rediscover why he's not in Cox's league.

As for Dake being the guy, how cool is it that we could see Dake vs. Cox?  I don't know if Cox can do it 2016, but my money is on him for 2020 at this weight.

I don't understand the legal basis for not allowing the defense to present an alternative theory of the murder and offer other possible suspects.  Also, despite the numerous opportunities for corruption, bias, malfeasance, and incompetence to affect what actually makes it into the jury room, our system is then in the hands of 12 people who are COMPLETELY focused on coming to a consensus and getting home as soon as possible rather than any real attempt to discover the truth or deliver justice.  Ask anyone who's served on a jury.  It's all about consensus and compromise.  People who steadfastly hold to their opinions about justice are widely scorned as uncooperative jerks.

Where are all the Iowa fans defending his right to wrestle thru the whistle?  The ref didn't blow his whistle in time.  Cox probably sending a message for the flagrant elbows on the way out.  Big guys at full speed, table right next to the mat, hard to stop on a dime.  Want more excuses?  I can go all night.

Nice win for the Tigers but if you look at the individual  rankings, it's not a surprise with MIzzou having 9 top 15 or better. The only team with more is Nebraska.
9 includes Lavallee, who's redshirting.  Our 157 and Hwt are freshman that still need some seasoning.  We've still got Cornell and OkSt on the schedule. Tough row to hoe.

Here you go, lkwdsteve.  Your very own thread.  Someone last night at the alumni social mentioned that Brian Smith has never lost to tOSU while at Mizzou.  I'll say this, I like Tom Ryan and the whole Buckeye program.  Always have.  I hope he continues the home/away series for years to come.

Mizzou lapping the field.  Looks like some people were premature in their coronation of Cornell, OU, and VT as the leading contenders to challenge the top 3.  Not to mention Minny is not nearly as terrible as everyone was predicting, either.

Where should Mayes be tigger

Word around the program, and from Flo, is that Mayes is going 149.  Mayes himself told me 141.  At this point, it's still speculation.  Doesn't really matter.  If he can take down Houdashelt AND get away from him, he can beat anybody at either weight.  It matters not a whit where he is ranked in the preseason.

I don't see Pendleton's name on this list.  Based on Ben's 3 conference titles and far superior dominance his last two years, I think you have to give him the nod over Pendleton.  I'd actually rate Perry ahead of Pendleton as well.
