A collegiate open tournament primarily for guys not wrestling in their conference championships. Everyone in your room can be training for something all the way through February! We already have commitments from several schools, including long-distance champ Cal State Bakersfield. Wrestling on 10 mats and some pretty sweet awards.

ELIGIBILITY: Collegiate & past collegiate wrestlers (no high school wrestlers)
WEIGHT CLASSES: NCAA Weights: 125, 133, 141, 149, 157, 165, 174, 184, 197, 285
PRE-REGISTRATION: All entries must be e-mailed to
wrestling@clarion.edu by 5 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2009 and include
NAME,
SCHOOL, and
WEIGHT CLASS. First come, first serve - tournament entries will be capped at 350!
CHECK-IN: 6:30-8:00 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Clarion University Student Recreation Center (NOT TIPPIN GYM)
MEDICAL CHECK: 7:00-8:00 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at the South end of the Rec Center track. Medical check will take place after check-in, before weigh-in.
WEIGH-IN: Saturday, February 28, 2009 / 7:00-8:00 a.m.
STARTING TIME: 9:00 am, Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 on 10 MATS - 1 weight class per mat
RULES: Double elimination with wrestling to six places
NCAA rules where applicable
No riding time
Rest rule waived
Sudden victory overtime
MATCH LENGTH: All matches 2-2-2 on 10 mats (wrestle on the same mat all day)
AWARDS: All Champions will be presented with a special United States Marine Corps Tribute to Champions Award (<a href='
